Well, firstly you will receive a very unique audio play on a USB memory stick, unless you’ve bought the download version, then you might like to look here, under the FAQ’s. Anyway there will be numbered MP3 files, techy stuff. Drag your five year old over to the computer to help you out. The audio play should be played in order on a good sound system so that you can hear the beautiful dulcet tones of our lovely narrator, (the late Nigel Pargetter from The Archers, but still very vibrant) Graham Seed … along with wonderful sound effects and music – and loud enough to be heard above any raucous Christmas behaviour. You know how Auntie Maud gets carried away, bless.
This Christmas Family Party Game will last approximately 1½ hours.
Secondly, there will also be several files which contain the PDF’s of the instructions, carol sheets, and game accessories.
These you will need to print up. It’s very easy, but should you not have a four year old to hand, further instructions are on the USB and on our FAQ page.
Then time to play!
You will then need people, these can be young or old, relatives or friends, dragged off the street or otherwise. Gather them up in a room, preferably an unlocked one, and the one with the sound system in. Press play, then on with the show!!
Graham will gently direct you through as you act out the story guiding you all the way. However, any improvisation is greatly appreciated …usually. It’s very easy, very simple, you may even enjoy (need) a small glass of wine, and some nibbles, and more wine, as you watch each other take centre stage… Be careful your 5 year old doesn’t upstage you.
